On August 28, 2024, the Professionals4Ukraine Week conference took place in Kyiv, in which representatives of the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund (URF) took part. The event brought together professionals from 17 countries to discuss ways to support Ukrainian clusters in response to wartime challenges and prepare for Ukraine’s recovery.

The conference program, which is part of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance’s (UCA) cluster internationalization strategy, included topics on recovery projects, prospects for cooperation, and mechanisms for supporting international partnerships.

The event was opened by speeches by Jakub Boratynski, Director of the European Commission’s DG Grow, and Andriy Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine. Among the key points of the conference were presentations of the Top 10 programs for international cooperation, as well as case studies of the four leading UCA clusters.

According to the organizers, the conference was a dress rehearsal for the Warsaw Rebuild Ukraine Conference, which will take place on November 13-14, 2024 and will be a key event to support Ukraine’s recovery.

“The Professionals4Ukraine conference is an important platform for international cooperation and experience exchange. It provides new opportunities for further work on Ukraine’s recovery and attracting international support,” said Viktoriia Korsunova, Director of the Kyiv Office of the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund.

The conference was organized within the framework of the ClusterINTernationalization project with the support of the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation.
