On August 26, Russian aggressors carried out the largest-scale missile and drone strike against Ukraine, causing significant damage to the energy infrastructure. Critical facilities have been severely damaged, jeopardizing the country’s energy supply during the heating season.

Ukraine is preparing for a tough winter, and the stability of energy supply during this period requires urgent measures. In this regard, Pavlo Kostyuk, founder of the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund, held a series of meetings with U.S. officials, calling on them to provide immediate support in preparing for the heating season and rebuilding the energy infrastructure.

“Ukraine needs more equipment to build a decentralized energy system that will be able to withstand possible attacks and maintain the stability of energy supply. Now it is important to direct all possible resources to support our country,” said Pavlo Kostyuk.

He emphasized the importance of accelerating actions in this direction and expressed hope for support from the United States.

“We are counting on our American partners in these difficult times and believe that together we will be able to overcome all the challenges facing Ukraine,” summarized Kostyuk.

The support of international partners is crucial for Ukraine as it continues to fight for its independence and stability amid new threats.
