De-mining of Ukrainian territories is one of the areas that requires increased attention from the international community. This was emphasized by the founder of the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund, Pavlo Kostyuk.

According to the latest data announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko, about 25% of Ukraine’s territory is currently contaminated with mines and explosive devices.

According to him, the State Emergency Service needs more modern equipment to speed up the clearance of Ukrainian land and save the lives of explosive experts.

“Ukraine remains one of the most mined countries in the world. And it will remain so, given the intensity of hostilities, for many years to come. Modern equipment, gear, and training for sappers can speed up the return of Ukrainians to normal life and the recovery of the Ukrainian economy. I am grateful to all international partners and donors who have already done a lot to demine Ukrainian territories. But I emphasize that the war is on, we still need your attention and participation,” emphasized Pavlo Kostyuk.

The founder of the URF added that everyone can contribute to clearing Ukraine of the consequences of the war. Each contribution or donation is the basis for a peaceful future of the European continent.

P.S. Donations for the demining of Ukraine can be made at the following link: https://ukrainereconstructionfund.org/uk/dopomohty/, or to the corporate card of the Kyiv branch of the Foundation in PrivatBank 5169335107463545.

All funds raised are directed to the account of the de-mining units of the de-occupied territories and the purchase of special equipment.
