Director of the Kyiv office of the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund Victoria Korsunova visited the Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Her visit had a special purpose – to hand over a multifunctional rehabilitation chair Invacare TDX SP Power to border guard Oleksandr Boloh, who is currently undergoing a difficult path of treatment and rehabilitation after a serious injury.

This exciting moment has become a symbol of unity and support for all those who bravely stand in defense of our country. Oleksandr Boloh, a native of picturesque Zakarpattia, fought bravely in eastern Ukraine, where he lost both legs in fierce fighting near Klishchiyivka. His courage and indomitable spirit have become a model for many young fighters.

The Invacare TDX SP Power is more than just a chair. Convenient high-traction wheels, speed and seat position adjustment systems, a powerful battery and charger make this chair indispensable in everyday life. Thanks to the joystick, control becomes simple and convenient, allowing Oleksandr to move around with ease and independence.

The management of the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund, together with its partner Maria Vlady from New York, who donated the chair, decided that Oleksandr Bohol, who selflessly fought for our freedom, should receive this important tool to return to a more active life.

“This is our smallest gratitude for Oleksandr’s enormous contribution to our common victory,” emphasized Victoria Korsunova.

The Ukraine Reconstruction Fund intends to continue this important activity, supporting our defenders and helping them in their recovery and rehabilitation.
