Team of Charitable organisation Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund started visiting settlements of our country that had suffered from russian occupation. Recently, we have visited Vorzel and Borodianka located in the Kyiv region to assist in further restoration.
Chair of the Charitable organisation Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund Iryna Leshchinska told Pravda news.
Fund’s team has met with business representatives and developers in Vorzel, according to her. Furthermore, the team has inspected the site assigned to a house that will be built under the charitable project.
“We have seen with our own eyes the site where the construction of a modern house for the people who had lost their homes due to russian invasion can start soon”, told Iryna Leshchinska.
The next stop was in Borodianka. This village suffered drastically due to the combats with russians. A significant amount of living houses and social buildings were vandalised.
“We have signed the memorandum of the partnership for restoration of the village with the acting head of Borodianka Heorhiy Yerko. It also includes our assistance in humanitarian help to the locals”, Fund’s Chair said.
The main aim of the Fund is to accumulate projects of buildings that were destroyed and need immediate reconstruction with the following pitching to foreign funds and donors to receive financing, Iryna Leshchinska emphasized.
They communicated with the local deputies to prepare all required documents to reconstruct social objects as soon as possible.
“Besides this, the fund’s team has started to work on humanitarian help for civilians consisting of food, medicines and other essentials”, she added.
