With the further de-occupation of Ukrainian territories, the need for the number of specialists for their demining will also increase. 80 new pyrotechnic units are already being created at the State Emergency Service, which will need to be provided with special equipment, engineering equipment and protective equipment.
– Each new unit must undergo a training course. There is also a need for additional courses for already working specialists in order to improve their qualifications, – emphasizes Yevhen Zdorenko, Deputy Head of the Charitable Foundation «Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund» for territory clearance and humanitarian demining.
It should be noted that Estonia, Switzerland, Poland, Croatia, Moldova and other countries have already declared their readiness to help Ukraine.
– Our Charitable Foundation also receives clear signals from international organizations about their readiness to participate in the organization of training for Ukrainian pyrotechnicians and the material staffing of demining units, – adds Yevhen Zdorenko.
Currently, the Fund is preparing relevant memorandums with partners.
