Among the projects, the implementation of which is currently being worked on by the Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund is the creation of Centers for psychological assistance to displaced persons and war victims.

On October 19, the chair of the Fund, Iryna Leshchynska, visited Rivne, where she held several meetings related to the implementation of this direction.

In particular, Rivne State University of Humanities is ready to provide professional support in the work of the Centers. First vice-rector, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Academician Roman Pavelkiv is a member of the Fund coordination board.

According to Mr. Pavelkiv, the educational institution has a strong theoretical base and significant practical experience in the field of providing psychological assistance. Additionally, since the beginning of the war, RSUH has been providing versatile support to internally displaced people and is well-oriented in their needs.

Iryna Leshchynska noted that the Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund is going to open the first Psychological Assistance Center in the capital, and later in the cities with which it has cooperation memorandums. Qualified assistance will be provided there to internally displaced people, victims of war, family members of military personnel, and people who have lost loved ones due to hostilities.

– We understand that there will be a lot of work. Therefore, we are grateful to the specialists of Rivne University for understanding the situation and the desire to help, – emphasized the chair of the Fund.
