Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund supports the artists’ event “Ukraine: from the war to peace” during which Ukrainian artists will exhibit their works abroad.
The event aims not only to popularise Ukrainian art worldwide but to draw the attention of western society to actual problems in Ukraine related to the war. It will be held in several steps and the first one will be dedicated to Ukraine Independence Day.
– Every conscious Ukrainian works on the one result now – the win. However, everyone does it in their manner. We gathered artists who want to transmit the resilient spirit of Ukrainians and our national idea through their art, – told the event organizer, an artist from Ivano-Frankivsk Orest Kuziv.
Several famous artists will take part in the event: Andrii Shabunin and Volodymyr Sandiuk – Merited Artists of Ukraine, Orest Kuziv, Valerii Duvirak, Bohdan Kuziv, Bohdan Brynskyi, Volodymyr Semchuk – members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Volodymyr Nediak – an artist from Ivano-Frankivsk, Anatolii Melnyk and art historian, Shevchenko National Award winner.
Now, they are preparing for the first exhibition which includes around 30 oil patriotic paintings. The date and place of the event will be announced soon.
