The Chair of the Fund Iryna Leshchynska and the mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Markushyn signed the memorandum of partnership to gather their efforts in the restoration of the town.
– Irpin, Bucha and Borodianka took the main hit during the offensive against the capital. These cities are liberated now and people are returning. We have to provide them with normal life. That is why we are signing this memorandum here today, – Chair of the Charitable organisation Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund Iryna Leshchinska told.
The document provides a collaboration of both sides in multiple activities aimed to reconstruct infrastructure and restore the economics of the town. The first building to be restored is going to be kindergarten Radist which was vandalised during the warfare.
– It is very important to us this kindergarten opened its doors to the children as soon as possible. Therefore, we are grateful to Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund for its willingness to help. From our side, we grant full support. The fund can always count on us, – mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Markushyn said.
