«Inseparable from the state as soul and body, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine was and remains with its people. Prayers for Ukraine, its soldiers, and the fair victory of light over darkness are heard every day in our parishes.

Personal losses, traumas, and experienced upheavals give rise to many questions to God, and people look for answers to them in the Church. Finding the right words of consolation, support, and motivation is what every clergyman should be ready for. We care about spiritual unity and preservation of faith in the hearts of Ukrainians in times of difficult trials.

We have to take care of sacrificial and charitable things. The Orthodox Church of Ukraine continuously provides material assistance to the needy, and with the beginning of the enemy invasion, the number of benefactors who seek to do good in partnership with the Church has increased. Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund is among them.

Thank you for the honor of being a member of the Fund’s Coordinating Council. I believe, with God’s help we will do many worthy things».

Father Vitalii (Danchak),
Public relations secretary of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Metropolis,
