The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made a decision to allocate 1,4 billion hryvnias for the creation of reserved equipment and materials to provide prompt assistance to the citizens during the heating season.
It is about the purchase of mobile gas and solid fuel boilers, diesel and gas generators, mobile water treatment systems, etc.
– Today, every forethoughtful host is already preparing for the toughest heating season in our history. All of us understand what could happen. Government of Ukraine, local government, and citizens should be ready for this, – Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Chernyshov said.
Ukraine Reconstruction Fund executives and coordinating council members agree that this heating season will be tough for Ukraine.
– We realise that the enemy will leave no stone unturned. Moreover, heat supply objects will probably become targets of missile strikes. That is why our Fund has enrolled in providing alternative heat sources for social infrastructure. We will help Ukrainian cities to pass this season confidently, – Chair of the Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund coordinating council Valerii Tytarchuk said.
He reminded that according to the signed partnership memorandum between Kremenchuk city council and Fund heat pumps and other types of alternative heating will be set up in the city’s schools, kindergartens and hospitals.
