Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund is preparing to hold the first foreign exhibition as part of the art campaign Ukraine: From War to Peace.
As planned previously, the event will be held in New York. The works submitted by the artists to participate in the campaign are already in the United States. In a few days, the management of the Fund will go there to solve organizational issues.
– We will announce the exact date, time, and place of the exhibition later, – noted the chair of URF Iryna Leshchynska.
Meanwhile, for the presentation of the event to the public, the Fund has prepared a special catalog available for download via the link. It contains comprehensive information (in Ukrainian and English) about the artists, sculptors, and their works participating in the project.
We would like to remind you that Ukraine: From War to Peace art campaign was launched by the Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund in July 2022. Artists from Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk prepared more than 35 works of patriotic themes for participation.
On August 22, on the eve of the Independence Day of Ukraine, a presentation of the campaign was held in Ivano-Frankivsk. Then the works of art were sent abroad.
– In their canvases and sculptures, the artists reflected their feelings about the war in Ukraine and related events. Through artistic images, we want to convey to the world that Ukraine suffers from aggression and is ready to defend itself, but is determined for peace, understanding, and supports those positions of the world order that relate to human rights, well-being, and development, – noted the counselor of the Fund Viktor Leshchynskyi.
