Allow us to introduce another member of the «Ukraine: from war to peace» project team – Volodymyr Sandyuk (1970). He works in the field of painting, decorative and applied arts, and book graphics.
He graduated from the Kosiv Technical School of Folk Art Crafts named after Vasyl Kasiyan (1989) and Lviv Academy of Arts (1996). Since 1996, he has been teaching special disciplines at the Department of Fine Arts named after Mykola Figol of the Institute of Arts of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. His teachers were: V. Humenyuk, V. Dubovyk, and V. Nesterenko.
In 1998, he joined the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and became an Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2013. Awarded with the Third Prize of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists (Kyiv, 2004); Diploma in the «Return to Depth» nomination of the II International Project «Golden Muse -2009».
Since 1992, he has been a participant in regional, national, and international art exhibitions and plein-airs. The author of 19 solo exhibitions.
