The wonderful Ivano-Frankivsk monumental artist and painter Valeriy Duvirak (1951) is also among the participants of art event «Ukraine: from war to peace».

In 1989, he joined the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Graduated from the Lviv Institute of Arts and Crafts, professors: Danylo Dovboshynskyi, Dmytro Krvavych, Volodymyr Ovsiychuk, Zenoviy Flinta. Since then, he worked at the Ivano-Frankivsk Art and Production Combine: from 1982 – as a chief artist, from 1984 to 2003 as the artist of the monumental workshop.

Participated in art exhibitions since 1980. Author of portraits, icons, and paintings.

Individual works are stored in the Ivano-Frankivsk Art Museum and the Museum of Folk Art of the Pochaiv Lavra (Ternopil region). Works: paintings in the «Molochne» cafe (1982, Ivano-Frankivsk); restoration work at the People’s House «Prosvita» (1993, Ivano-Frankivsk), the building of the Carpathian Center for Human Reproduction (1994, Ivano-Frankivsk), Pempovo Palace in Poland (2000-2001); project, carving and painting of the iconostasis of the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Kosmach, Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk region (1998-1999); illustrations for the song «Children Magnify the Lord» (1999).
