“I am grateful to the leaders of the American states for their willingness to develop regional cooperation with Ukraine. The implementation of joint economic projects will help restore the destroyed infrastructure and create jobs,” the Head of State noted.
The meeting resulted in an Agreement between the Zaporizhzhia OMA and the State of Pennsylvania. According to the signed document, Pennsylvania will help rebuild Zaporizhzhia region. The priority will be to restore the energy infrastructure.
Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, said that the United States remains a reliable partner of Ukraine, both in military support and in reconstruction.
“The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development is grateful for the joint work in the field of reconstruction. Pennsylvania is not the first state that is ready to help Ukrainians overcome the consequences of the destruction caused by the war unleashed by Russia,” emphasized Oleksiy Kuleba.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, emphasized that the region is currently preparing for winter in the face of destroyed infrastructure, so support for reconstruction will allow the work to be completed on time.
