On October 31, 2024, the First Foreign Investment Congress was held in Kyiv, bringing together representatives of business, international financial institutions, diplomatic missions, investment funds and government officials from more than 40 countries interested in developing the economic potential of Ukraine.
The event has become a new international communication platform for discussing the conditions and opportunities for attracting foreign capital to help restore the economy, ensure financial stability and increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian business.
The Ukraine Reconstruction Fund (URF) actively joined the Congress to find new ways to develop international partnerships and attract financial support for the implementation of important projects to rebuild Ukraine.
“Today, more than ever, Ukraine needs an open dialog with international partners and investors. Our task is to create the most transparent and understandable conditions for those who are ready to join the process of restoring the country and help build a sustainable future,” emphasized Victoria Korsunova, Director of the URF Kyiv Office.
Representatives of the Fund held a number of meetings with investors, business associations and foundations, discussing key areas of cooperation with international partners.
The Congress, organized by Euconlaw Group and Foreign Business Hub, was supported by the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine and the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.
