The Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund hopes for effective interaction with the government of Ukraine regarding the development of a network of Psychological Assistance Centers for war victims. This was emphasized by the chair of the Fund Pavlo Kostiuk.
We would like to remind you that the URF plans to open the first Psychological Assistance Center in Kyiv, and later in other cities. Qualified assistance will be provided there to displaced persons, victims of war, family members of military personnel, and people who have lost loved ones due to hostilities. Memorandums of cooperation have already been signed with leading scientific centers in the regions.
Recently, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk reported that the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories supports the development of a network of services that will provide psychosocial support to displaced persons.
– I see that we have a common goal: to help people socialize, accept a new reality and overcome psychological trauma. The fact that the top leadership of Ukraine, considering the incredible number of problems that it needs to solve, does not leave for later the care of the mental health of its compatriots, is very gratifying, – Pavlo Kostiuk emphasized.
Currently, negotiations on the opening of centers in the cities of the country continue.
