The Council of Inspectors General for Integrity and Efficiency has selected Robert Storch as the chief inspector general for the use of international aid to Ukraine.
Robert Storch is currently the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Defense.
– The appointment of Comptroller Storch can ensure that the U.S. Congress supports the allocation of a new funding package for Ukraine, – said Pavlo Kostyuk, head of the URF. – In addition, it is important to control approximately $113 billion in aid sent to Ukraine since the beginning of the war last year.
It is worth noting that the administration of US President Joe Biden is currently working on a request for additional funding for Ukraine, which is likely to be ready for consideration by Congress this fall.
